Greetings friends and neighbors. Just as I had predicted, summer has flown by once again. I don’t know how January and February take their good old time to pass, but July and August can’t get over quick enough. It was a great summer, though, just too short!
What should we talk about? First off I want to bring you up to date on the latest member of my family, Mikah. As some of you may recall, I had a very sad spring with the loss of Shadow, my old, troubled dog , and the traumatic death of Ajax, my “ too young to die” cat. Well, the good Lord, in his wisdom, has blessed me with the most loving kitten I have ever had.
Mikah is just the perfect kitten & he is making our house joyful again.
I would suggest if you are bored, sad, depressed, or just have enough love in your heart to share with an animal, consider adopting from a shelter. I got Mikah from NO DOG LEFT BEHIND in Berkley, & they found the perfect pet for me. They have trouble adopting out black ani- mals so their fee is less for blacks, which is what
I wanted in the first place. Soo many unwanted dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens; it breaks your heart. Have you room for one to love and care for? I hope some one does.
‘Till next month, be sweet to the four-legged members of your family! Karlene
